Career Transition Program Quick Start

This program is designed for employees who would benefit from a basic level of support to quickly launch themselves into the active phase of job search. To maximize the effectiveness the support is based on one on one session with a dedicated consultant.

Overall the program includes:

On-site attendance by an LMC consultant at termination to provide immediate support to terminating manager and employee.
Individual coaching sessions over a one month period to prepare for an effective job search.
Provision of the LMC Job Search Manual which includes sample resumes.
Web based self-assessment to consider career direction.
Preparation of a market focused resume.
Assistance in developing a viable job search action plan.
Assistance in developing sample ad response, networking, self-marketing, and thank you letters.
An interview practice session that is videotaped and carefully reviewed with the employee.
Evaluation of job offers and assistance in negotiating permanent or contract agreements with prospective employers during the duration of the program as needed.
Provision of updated recruiters list categorized by functional specialty.
