Career Transition Program 12 Month
Designed for senior managers and long term employees requiring full job search assistance this program provides in-depth support to explore all options and pursue suitable opportunities in the market place. To maximize the effectiveness the support is based on one on one session with a dedicated consultant.
Overall the program includes
- On-site attendance by an LMC consultant at termination to provide immediate support to terminating manager and employee.
- Individual coaching for a twelve month period to ensure support for an effective and active job search.
- Provision of the LMC Job Search Manual which includes sample resumes.
- An individual financial planning meeting with an outside consultant as needed.
- Comprehensive testing and Web based self-assessment to expand and explore career options, develop a career focus and identify development needs related to career direction.
- Assistance in developing and executing viable job search strategies that respond to the current realities of the market place.
- Preparation of market focused resume(s) and posting of summary on LMC web site for prospective employers.
- Business cards.
- Focused attention and support on developing a business network.
- Assistance with letter writing including ad response, networking, self-marketing and thank you letters.
- Intensive interview practices in person and on videotape that are carefully reviewed with the employee.
- Evaluation of job offers and assistance in negotiating permanent or contract agreements with prospective employers until a new position is secured.
- Administrative support, use of office space and on-site computers with Internet access at main office and private voice mail box.
- Provision of updated search firm list categorized by functional specialty.
